Shirdi Weather

Shirdi, the abode of Sai Baba, is situated in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The exact location of the town is 19°45' North Latitude and 74°25' East Longitude. The tourists and devotees visiting the sacred place wish to gather information about its weather and climate, so as to decide on the time to pay a visit. Shirdi basically experiences three seasons, summers, winters and monsoons, and has a dry type of climate.

The summer season usually last from mid-March to June and can be quite unpredictable. During this time, the maximum temperature in Shirdi may rise to as high as 40 deg C, especially in the month of May. Monsoon season in the town, which stretches on from June till August-September, is quite pleasant. Though the rainfall is not too much, it is not too less also. With greenery all around, the entire town of Shirdi wears a beautiful look.

If getting wet doesn't bother you, you can plan your trip during monsoons. The winter season in Shirdi starts from the month of October-November and lasts till February. During this time, the temperature may go down to as low as 7 deg C. For those who neither like sweat, nor love getting wet, this period present the best time to visit Shirdi. While visiting the holy town, remember to dress not only as per the weather, but also as per the sensibilities of the people. Revealing or too tight clothes are a big No-No
